Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating in 1997 from the Texas A&M University biomedical science program, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002. He takes, on average, 30 hours of post-graduate education each year, focusing primarily on prosthodontics and comprehensive care. Dr. Carlyon is a 2012 graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, a didactic and clinical program with the latest advances in esthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Carlyon is also the past President of the Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry and currently serves on the board. In 2015, he was nominated by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry as Dentist of the Year.
